Here’s what you should do after a storm:
Skim & Remove Debris – Leaves, branches, and dirt can overwhelm your system if left too long.
Check & Empty Baskets – Skimmer and pump baskets fill up fast after heavy wind.
Test & Balance Water – Rain dilutes chlorine and affects pH. A water test is a must!
Inspect Equipment – Make sure your pump and filter are running smoothly.
Shock the Pool – Extra organic matter = extra sanitizer needed to stay ahead of algae.
